The Gift is the sweet and touching story of Tom, a little boy who will have to overcome his fears to evolve in the world around him. This initiatory story, with its unique and promising aesthetic, is aimed at everyone, with attention to young audiences.

The directors

Nadège Herrygers is a Belgian screenwriter and director. She is also an educational facilitator at the Cinema Service of the Province of Hainaut and a cultural facilitator at the Caméléon workshop where she coordinates stop motion workshops for young audiences.

Visual artist, Stéphane Bronkart discovered animated cinema by participating in the adult workshop and various Camera-etc projects. Via the MiCROFiLM call for projects, he directed The Sitting Man Who Wanted to Stand Up, an animated film in animated painting. He continued his pictorial approach to animated cinema with You and I, a clip for a song by The Feather (out soon).
