L’auteure

Mélusine Peduzzi is a French author, filmmaker and illustrator. After a year of art preparatory class, she starts an animation degree course (DMA) at l’ESAAT, Roubaix, in 2017. There she studies filmmaking animation techniques and discovers numerous cinematic productions which will become flagship references influencing her work and galvanising her taste for animation and live-action cinema. She gets into those studies in depth with a complementary year at the ESAAT where she becomes more professional with staging, storyboarding, layout and animation. Beside filmmaking, Mélusine also explores other visual mediums through her illustrating work.

Right in the Eyes of the Mirror is her first professional animation short.
